TERMS AND CONDITIONS

We reserve the right to modify, add, vary, or amend all or part of these terms of use from time to time, without prior notice.

Cancellation Policy​

​​

  1. Free of charge cancellation 15 days prior to check-in date. If bookings are cancelled within 14 to 8 days prior to check-in date, 50% of your full stay will be charged. In case of cancellation within 7 days before your booking date, the full amount of your stay will be charged.

  2. If the reservation is made less than 8 days in advance, there is no option to change the date.

  3. No refund will be given for no-show or days not used resulting from early check out. In case of late arrival, the resort will be happy to extend a stay provided there are rooms available. However, the hotel cannot be held accountable for any flight delays or cancellations.

Reservations & Payments

​​

  1. All reservations would be pending of confirmation until 100% payment deposit is validated, the payment is processed 14 days prior to check-in, except for reservations with promotional prices which are processed immediately.

  2. For all reservations, regardless of the means of payment, it will be necessary to present a credit card at the time of check-in as a guarantee.

  3. Summer C Hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize credit cards prior to your arrival.

Rates

​​

  1. The published rate corresponds to the value per night per room. Breakfast is not included. Rooms accommodation and capacity are disclosed in the webpage and booking engine.

  2. The rate does not include the Value Added Tax -VAT- of 19%, which applies to tax residents in Colombia, complying with Decree 2646 of 2013. If you are a tax resident in Colombia, this value would be charged at the time of check-in.

  3. The rate includes WIFI internet connection in the common and private areas, pool and jacuzzi access.

  4. The rate DOES NOT include laundry service, mini bar consumption, national and international telephone calls, streaming services or other services not specified in the rate.

  5. All rates are quoted in Colombian peso COP.

Check in & Checkout

​​

  1. The reception service is from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. If you have a reservation and your arrival time is outside this range, you must notify to hello@hotelsummerc.com or WhatsApp number +57 3116500453 with at least 24 hours in advance to coordinate your check-in.

  2. Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out time is until 12:00 p.m. Early check-in and late check-out are available on subject to availability.

  3. In case you do not check-out after 12:00 pm and no prior communication is delivered to our reception staff the value of the following night will be charged to your bill.

Responsibility

​​

  1. We will not be liable for any injuries, loss of or damage to personal equipment and property during your stay with us, and/or during your participation in any of the hotel’s activities. For your safety, please follow any directions that may be given to you during your stay and/or participation of activities. Guests participating in extreme sports activities are required to sign an indemnity release form.

Children

  1. Every child under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parents or a responsible adult who by legal means can guarantee their relationship with the minor, in case of being a third party, an authenticated signed letter from both parents of the minor authorizing their accompaniment must be presented. If one of the parents is absent, supporting document must be attached.

  2. The guest is always responsible for the behavior and safety of their children or minors in charge.

  3. In strict compliance with article 17 of 679 law of 2001, and Law 1336 of 2009 regarding the prevention of exploitation, pornography and sexual tourism of minors, Summer C Hotel rejects and reports any suspicious behavior to authorities.

Pets

  1. Due to operational and safety matters, pets are not allowed.

  2. Intellectual Property Rights

    1. This website and all materials, including but not limited to photographs, illustration, data, text, images, and information on our activities, products, and services offered on this website are protected by copyright, trademark.

    2. Except otherwise provided and agreed by our team, you are strictly prohibited from uploading, downloading, copying, and reproducing, re-publishing, transmitting, or distributing in any way, the contents, or any part thereof.

Others

​​

  1. Penalty for smoking: the hotel declares itself a smoke-free space, and smoking is prohibited in any of the facilities. failure to comply with this rule implies a charge of $400,000 COP to the lodging bill.

  2. Loss of keys: In the case of loss of keys to access the room or the energy control card, a penalty of COP $50,000 will be charged for each one.

  3. Reasonable use of the sound equipment: the use of the sound equipment should be done at a moderate volume without disturbing the peace of other guests, after 9 pm the use of sound system is prohibited. Failure to comply with this clause may result in the immediate expulsion of the guest from the establishment without the right to reimbursement or claim.

  4. The parking service is free in the hotel facilities; you must use the marked areas for parking. The Hotel is not responsible for damage or disappearance of vehicles kept in the parking area. The hotel is obliged to clearly express in the parking area that the area is not supervised, and the hotel is not responsible for the property kept in there.

  5. Behavior: the hotel reserves the right to send guests away from the hotel due to their conduct and behavior or for any other safety, security, medical reasons. This applies, if guests do not observe instructions given by the hotel employees, express themselves in a discriminating manner, harass or endanger other guests.

  6. Hotel assets: all the assets and valuables of the hotel should be duly maintained adequately and should not be damaged or destroyed. The hotel has the discretion to levy any charges in future if it is proven beyond doubt that such damage/destruction to the asset of the hotel (both movable and immovable) have been done or caused by the guest.

  7. We do our best to ensure reservation arrangements are satisfactory, however, the hotel does not accept any liability for any loss financial or otherwise, travel delay, injury, damage, additional expenses, or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by any events which are beyond our control. These include, but not limited to, flight delays or cancellations, civil disturbance, defects in vehicles, strikes, theft, acts of terrorism, natural disaster, war, fire, floods, acts of God, acts of Government or of any other authorities, changes to Government regulations, accident to or failure of machinery or equipment, maintenance requirements or industrial action.

  8. The transport to the airport is provided as an ancillary service and the Hotel is not accountable to whatsoever happens to the guests during such transits.

Acceptance

  1. By proceeding with the reservation, you further agree and acknowledge that if the reservation is accepted by the hotel, your stay subsequently shall be subject to the Hotel’s Standard Terms and Conditions in respect of their reservation / stay at the hotel.

  2. You further agree that the General Terms and Conditions as provided on the website hotelsummerc.com shall constitute the binding agreement between yourself and Hotel Summer C in relation to any and all commercial arrangement including reservation, stay, payment, usage of facilities, etc. of whatsoever nature.

  3. The Hotel may, at its absolute discretion, cancel the reservation if the hotel is of the opinion that the reservation information provided is falsified or incomplete.

(hereinafter the "SUMMER C HOTEL") has information of natural persons in various databases which are acquired in development of its corporate purpose and in execution of its economic activity, acting as the Responsible and / or Responsible for the Treatment of the personal data found in their databases. Therefore, SUMMER C HOTEL collects, stores, uses, transmits, transfers, and deletes personal data of natural persons with whom it has relationship, of any kind (civil, commercial and / or labor); including, but not limited to, guests, customers, suppliers, contractors, workers, creditors, and debtors.
